    The city’s Homeownership as Preservation (HOP) initiative focuses on converting older rental buildings into permanently affordable homes owned by their residents.

    The city of Seattle is set to launch two new housing-stability initiatives after receiving $5 million from the federal HUD Pathways to Removing Obstacles (PRO Housing) program.
