Demo ahead for city-owned landmark in SLU

Seattle City Light owns a half block in South Lake Union that can be addressed at 802 Roy St., on the corner of Eighth Avenue North. The 1.5-acre site is polluted — above and below grade — with lead, asbestos, mercury, PCBs, benzene, gasoline products and more.
