NAIOP Washington has a fever ... World Cup fever! Just as the city has embraced the coming summer soccer games with co-branding fervor, NAIOP will join the bandwagon with an April 9 event called “Building for All: A World Cup Legacy.” Among the speakers will be Tess Dickman, of Studio Pacifica, who's also advising the SeattleFWC26 effort. Also on hand will be Patrick McQueen from PCL Construction. More speakers will be added to the roster, with Lumen Field's accessibility design to be discussed. “Members of the SeattleFWC26 will share their efforts to make these events inclusive and accessible for all,” says the organizer. The Thursday afternoon gathering takes place at the offices of HITT Contracting (at Home Plate Center, in SoDo). Registration and details: naiopwa.org
