With $19M Renton buy, small-bay specialist WareSpace enters market

This isn’t the Renton building, but get ready for this logo to soon adorn 700 Powell.

An empty Renton warehouse at 700 Powell Ave. S.W. sold this week for $19 million, according to King County records. The seller was BCI IV Renton DC LLC, associated with Ares Management, which acquired the property in 2016 for nearly $9.6 million. Ares, a regular in our market, nearly doubled its money over the 10-year hold.
