Bellevue drops speeds to 20 mph

The city says speeding on local streets remains the top traffic safety concern raised by residents and is a leading factor in fatal and serious-injury crashes.

BELLEVUE — The city of Bellevue will lower the speed limit on local neighborhood streets from 25 mph to 20 mph, with new signs expected to begin going up today.
