Where a salmon cannery once stood, Semiahmoo was developed in the 1980s.

Up in Blaine, near the U.S.-Canada border, the Semiahmoo Resort last traded in 2013. At 9565 Semiahmoo Pkwy., that 170-acre property, with its hotel and golf course, is owned by Wright Hotels and partners here in Seattle.
