New units to follow $27M retail sale

KIRKLAND — A small doomed shopping center at 12631 N.E. 85th St. sold this week for $27 million, according to King County records.

The seller was Rosehill Kirkland LLC, which is associated with MainStreet Property Group. That developer acquired the 3.4-acre property in 2021 for about $20.5 million. First offices and later apartments were contemplated. MainStreet finally settled on a townhouse plan, designed by Dahlin.
