Housing to follow Mercer Island church sale

MERCER ISLAND — A Mormon church at 4001 Island Crest Way sold this week for $7.1 million, according to King County records.

The seller was the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It put several churches on the block back in April, as the DJC first reported. A few have since sold to both faith groups and housing developers.
