Northgate is dead! Long live The District at Northgate!

First it was Northgate, a plain old shopping mall that opened in 1950, before the freeway ran past. Then it was rebranded as Northgate Station in 2021 by owner Simon Property Group, taking the name of the light-rail station that opened that fall.
