Seattle City Light gave the City Council an update on Monday about plans for a new substation on Denny Way and some of the design options raised a few eyebrows.
One option is still the standard plan of putting a substation on the site bounded by Denny, John Street, Minor Avenue North, Yale Avenue North and Stewart Street, but City Light showed some alternatives such as building high-rise towers and a substation.
