The high-rises are coming to the U District. Light rail service will begin there in 2021, so more properties are trading — or being put under contract — and more plans are being filed to take advantage of the 2017 upzone. Landmark Properties of Athens, Georgia, has a large property under contract a block south of U District Station. Colliers is the broker for what was initially called Campus Station, the larger of two sites. The project, its first in our market, is called The Standard at Seattle.
