Gym lets in the sunshine, and the neighbors

    A mezzanine level inside the gym provides a path for circulation that enlivens the inside and outside of the building. A series of windows open to the morning light, and a stepped-back clerestory brings in more light.

    No one wants to wake up one morning and face a four-story wall right across the street. Residents along 13th Avenue between Union and Spring streets were no exception.
