4th 107 th Birthday/Political Picnic for AIA in Seattle and Washington. 1-4 p.m. at Jose Rizal Park, Seattle. Bring a candidate (“all races welcome,” from cities and countries throughout the 6-county area) to share perspectives with the design community. Cake and ice cream provided.  
Continuing Education:    
22nd The Richter Jolt- Seismic Retrofit and Renovation AIA Seattle Continuing Education present tours to learn about seismic projects and provide on-site design solutions to these current buildings. 2LUs, 2HSW http://www.aiaseattle.org/ce_0082201_richterjolt.html.  
23rd Sustainable Site Design “What makes it GREEN?” Case Study - Integrus Architecture will present White River High School and Busby + Associates will present Nicola Valley Institute of Technology at the University College of Cariboo in Merritt, BC. 4-6 p.m. 2LUs, 2 HSW.
