The Client Coach How to build strong business relationships |
August 14, 2002
So much in life is about position. Take social etiquette for example. At a wedding it’s “Will you be sitting on the groom’s side or the bride’s?” At a major concert it’s take a number, wait in line and hope the show doesn’t sell out before it’s your turn. In chess it’s checkmate. In auto racing it’s the pole position. And in golf, at least for some of us, it’s just getting it in the fairway.
Someone once said, “Success doesn’t go around looking for someone to stumble upon. You’ve got to be in position for success to happen.”
