Sound Transit won't open a light rail station in the University District until 2021, but the city is already working on a rezone that would allow taller buildings in the area.
The Seattle Department of Planning and Development is working with a large and diverse group of stakeholders — residents, business owners, university officials and others — to learn what the community wants the U District to look like in the future.
