On the Block: Everett doesn't aim to be a bedroom suburb, but light rail could change that
Rather than taking the bus to Everett, we should've bought airline tickets, too.
That problem became evident during an otherwise pleasant guided tour of the city recently hosted by the Urban Land Institute. Driving north in light midday traffic, all chatter was about development following the light rail line (It's scheduled to reach Everett in 2036, BTW.) And vice versa.
