On the Block: Hotel woes continue, with most new projects on ice
If you're currently building a hotel in the pandemic-crippled hospitality market, you probably have no choice but to complete the project. Or, it the case of one half-built project in Bellevue, look for a buyer or partner to complete the job.
If you're planning a hotel — ideally on land you haven't yet purchased — those plans can be delayed indefinitely. Maybe, post-vaccine, in a year or two, just maybe the tourist and business travel markets will recover.
