SEATTLE — See all the latest for the home and garden at Seattle Home Show 2, the fall version of the oldest and largest consumer home show in the nation, taking place Saturday and Sunday at CenturyLink Field Event Center.

Along with the latest products and services for the home, the show will feature a new “The People's Choice” award in interior design, where the public has the chance to vote for their favorite design created by the Northern Pacific Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) community. More than 70 entries representing the best in both residential and commercial interior design will be on display. The winner will be revealed Oct. 21 as part of the IIDA's annual awards competition at McCaw Hall.

Another new feature to Seattle Home Show 2 is LanFest, a two-day “Bring Your Own Computer” gaming competition raising money for charity, with a special “Free Play” section where visitors can play for free with the price of admission.

Hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $13 for adults, $9 for seniors and military, $3 for ages 7-15. Kids under 7 are free.
