Dickerson has been with Cochran for 11 years and has more than 30 years of experience in electrical and general contracting. Burnett has more than 19 years of experience in electrical construction. Duck is responsible for Cochran's warehouse, tools, prefabrication, purchasing and IT departments. Cochran is an electrical and technology contractor.

Seattle-based construction software provider Dexter+Chaney appointed Norbert Orth as president. Orth was the company's vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, and is a member of the board. He has more than 25 years of experience in business management, including executive roles at multinational firms and technology start-ups.

Property and construction consulting firm Rider Levett Bucknall promoted Chris Burris to principal in the Seattle office. Burris has led the local office for the past four years and has more than 13 years of experience in the construction industry. He is a Certified Cost Professional and has expertise in conceptual estimating, life-cycle costing, contract administration, reviewing progress draws and change orders.

ABC of Western Washington

West

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington hired Geneva West as manager of government and labor affairs. West is working on ABC's grassroots program, coordinating with ABC's lobbyist, PAC fundraising, labor relations and communicating on those issues with members. She is also working on ABC's social media presence. West previously was the campaign manager for Kevin Wallace for Bellevue City Council, a session aide for Sen. Doug Ericksen and a communication intern for the Senate Republican Caucus.

In its Seattle office, Lease Crutcher Lewis promoted Brian Aske to senior project manager and Coriann Presser to project manager, and hired James Furlan, Ryan Smith and Chris Sweeney. Aske, DBIA, LEED AP BD&C, joined Lewis in 2006 and has 20 years of construction experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from California State University Chico, and a certificate in commercial real estate from the University of Washington. Presser joined Lewis in 2005 as a project engineer. She holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the UW. Furlan, a project manager, has been in construction for 10 years and holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. Smith, LEED AP, is a project manager initially assigned to the Preconstruction Group. He has been in construction since 2005 and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from California State University Fresno. Sweeney, LEED Green Associate, is a project engineer. He started in the industry in 2006, earned a bachelor's degree in building construction management from the University of Wisconsin Platteville, and recently finished a tour in the Peace Corps.

Justin Ramm returned to PSF Mechanical as a project design engineer. He was joined by new employees Daryl Anderson, a superintendent for Nordstrom projects, and Randy McPherson, a senior project manager. Ramm has four years of industry experience, holds a mechanical engineering degree from Washington State University, and is working toward a Professional Engineer license. Anderson has 29 years of experience in sheet metal work and managing work crews. McPherson has 25 years of experience in the industry, including a Local 66 apprenticeship and 18 years as vice president of construction and operations for a mechanical firm.

Portland-based Advanced American Construction hired Jamie Wilson as vice president of the Industrial Services Division. Wilson has 25 years of project management and operations experience. He previously worked for 10 years at Schnitzer Steel Industries, where his last job was international director of operations in Canada. Advanced American is a marine construction and diving company.

Global Diving & Salvage

Propeck

Seattle-based Global Diving & Salvage hired John Propeck as general manager of the Gulf Coast regional office in Houston. Propeck is in charge of developing new and ongoing business in offshore operations, marine construction and casualty response. He has 45 years of experience in the commercial diving and maritime industry, including 20 years in program and project management.
