Security Properties is planning to build a 40-story apartment tower in the Denny Triangle called Kinects that bows out on three sides as it gets taller.
Such a design is an unusual but not unique way to give a developer larger units near the top, which tend to rent for more, according to Mark Simpson, a principal with the project architect, Seattle-based Bumgardner.
