Resist the temptation to eat a submarine

Did you hear the recent evening news feature about the polar bear that tried to have one of our nuclear submarines for breakfast? It seems that one of our subs inadvertently surfaced and broke through the polar ice right in the middle of this bear’s dining room! The polar bear pounced on the sub’s conning tower faster than the captain could say, “Down periscope!”

My initial impression about this bear was: Wow! That's was one fearless, determined, audacious bear! But then I thought, what a waste! If the bear had really understood what he was going after, he’d have been a little more selective about his choices. After all, he wasted a lot of time and energy trying to tear into something that was far beyond his capacity to digest. I think this guy needed a better “go/no go” policy!
